Ana Bruno e Associados hereby announces its recent partnership with Roberto Morales Asesores a leading Family Business Consulting firm in the Iberian Peninsula, pioneer in Family and Business consulting.

Family Businesses are those in which a Family has control over the company, can appoint the management and/or some of its members participate and work in the company.

It is estimated that 70 of all businesses are family owned and family structured Business, which represent a pillar of the national and global economy In the scope of this partnership, Ana Bruno e Associados provides legal advisory services in the implementation of solutions to find the balance between family harmony and family business interests.

Among these solutions we highlight the Family Protocol which consists of a written agreement between members of a Family Business, where operating rules are established, and preventive measures are taken to avoid conflict situations (management bodies, work of family members and control of share ownership).

Once the Family Protocol has been drawn up, considering the best personal and professional interests of the members of the Family as well as the Family Business itself, it will be implemented within the company.

Along with the Family Protocol, the following solutions can also be found:

+ Solving conflicts between Family members or Non Family Partners

+ Implementation of new communication patterns within the Family that allow a correct understanding and normalization of relations, both in the professional and personal spheres

+ Succession plans for the transfer of responsibilities and functions, following professional criteria

+ Restructuring of the Board of Directors, according to professional criteria

+ Training for descendants of shareholders to prepare them to be responsible owners and to contribute to correct decision making

The correct organization of a company according to professional criteria is the basis for its development and profit Considering the particularities of a family business, the correct organization of the company becomes even more important, in order to ensure its future and sustainability as well as for the next generations.
